We recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing made of breathable fabrics like cotton. Light colors are preferred as they reflect heat. Avoid wearing high heels or formal shoes - sandals, sneakers, or comfortable flat shoes work best for walking on sand. Don't forget to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (SPF 30+), and a light scarf or hat for sun protection during the day.
The best time for desert safari in Dubai is during the cooler months from October to April. Evening safaris are most popular as you can experience the stunning sunset over the dunes and enjoy the pleasant night temperatures. The afternoon pickup (around 3-4 PM) allows you to catch the golden hour for photography. Morning safaris (8-9 AM) are ideal if you prefer cooler temperatures and want to keep your evening free.
Yes, desert safari is a family-friendly activity! Children above 3 years can participate in most activities including the camel ride and camp entertainment. However, dune bashing is not recommended for children under 3 years, pregnant women, or people with back problems. Our drivers can adjust the intensity of dune bashing for families with young children. The camp activities like henna painting, sandboarding, and watching the shows are enjoyed by kids of all ages.
Pregnant women can join the desert safari but are strongly advised to skip the dune bashing portion due to the bumpy ride and sudden movements which could be uncomfortable or risky. They can still enjoy the camel ride (with assistance), camp activities like henna painting, watching entertainment shows, and the BBQ dinner. We recommend consulting with your doctor before booking and informing our team about your condition so we can make special arrangements.
- Carry valid ID/Passport for identification purposes

- Do not litter in the desert - respect the environment
- Photography is allowed but ask permission before photographing local staff
- Alcohol consumption is only permitted in licensed camps
- Dress modestly and respectfully when visiting local cultural areas
- Be punctual for pickup to ensure smooth coordination
